Competition T’s & C’s
1. By entering this competition entrants agree to the rules set out below.
2. This competition is limited to all residents of RSA, excluding employees of Galderma, holding companies and subsidiaries, their advertising and promotions agencies, and their immediate families.
3. Entrants must be 18 years & above. Entrants under the age of 18 will need to secure consent from a parent or legal guardian. This will be verified by the consenting parent or legal guardian confidentially providing Benzac South Africa with a copy of his/her ID document.
4. To participate in this competition, entrants are to share a video or videos to their own social media accounts via Facebook or Instagram. Competition entries must be made public in order to qualify.
5. The content created must not contain anything offensive, obscene, malicious or illegal as entries will be disqualified and reported to Facebook or Instagram.
6. All entrants must be followers of at least one of the Benzac® social media accounts (Facebook, or Instagram)
7. Participants may enter the competition only during the promotional period (07 October 2022 – 18 November 2022). Each participant may only enter the competition once. After the first entry, no further entries to the competition will be permitted/counted/considered.
8. The promotion commences from 07 October 2022 until midnight 18 November 2022. No entries received after midnight 18 November 2022 will be considered.
9. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of team members at Galderma, and their advertising and promotional agencies.
10. Five winners will be selected by a panel of judges.
11. All winners will receive a prize. Prize values vary between R1,000.00 and R5,000.00.
12. Galderma will not be liable for any loss, injury, death or damage caused to participating entrants.
13. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. No substitution or cash redemption of non-cash prizes is permitted. Prizes are not transferable/refundable.
15. Winners will be contacted between 19 November 2022 – 10 December 2022 via Facebook and Instagram respectively and asked for their contact and delivery details. If a winner cannot be contacted within three days of notification, Benzac® South Africa and their agency reserve the right to withdraw the prize and draw a replacement winner.
16. Winners agree to the use of their names, comments, image and footage in any publicity material without any further compensation.
17. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Benzac® and their appointed agency and not to any other party for any other purpose than the administration of this promotion.
18. Benzac® and any of its associated or subsidiary companies, directors, officers, employees or agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the entrant.
19. No director or employee of Galderma or it’s affiliated companies, agencies, service providers, consultants, and members of their immediate family, may enter this Competition.
20. By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
21. Data Privacy ➢ Galderma and the agency (Pitch) managing the competition will be considered coresponsible parties (co-controllers) in terms of POPIA. Personal Information will not be shared with any third party and will only be used to fulfil requirements of the competition and marketing by both parties, subject to your data subject rights as set out in our Privacy Notice. Information will only be kept as stated in the Privacy Notice.
➢ Personal data relating to the winners, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
